UR-Linked

A searchable database, UR-Linked allows aspiring undergraduate researchers, scholars, and artists to connect with faculty mentors across campus. UR-Linked includes faculty profiles as well as more specific information about their research projects and artistic endeavors.

Modeled on the University of Texas at Austin's Eureka database, UR-Linked serves a tool for connecting UMKC undergraduates and faculty researchers, scholars, and artists.

About Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship at UMKC

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship at UMKC is committed to supporting undergraduate students to infuse their experience with meaningful, mentored research experiences. Our office can:

  • Connect students with faculty mentors (UR-Linked)
  • Support instructors in designing courses that allow students to engage in research and pursue creative projects (EUReka!)
  • Assist students with federal work-study awards in securing employment with faculty to collaborate on research and creative projects (Undergraduate Research Associates)
  • Offer presentation opportunities for students to share their work (Symposia; Lightning Talks)
  • Fund student research grants to support student-led, faculty-mentored projects (SEARCH and SUROP)
  • Recognize students for their achievements in research and creative scholarship through the honorary transcript designation (Undergraduate Research Fellow)
