Description
ALL NEW, materials science, chemistry, and mechanical engineering COMBO project. Hands-on build of a model rocket concept. Learn things like: specific impulse; cold gas thrusters; materials at extreme condition; fabrication techniques; resistive heating; what caused my explosion; why didn't this work; etc. !!!

Qualifications
Some knowledge of the physical world; some experience with tools in hand; initiative to go out and learn or get what's needed.

Intro: late FA 2025 maybe some work over holiday, then Spring 2026. Maybe summer; maybe proposal writing...

Can enroll in CHEM 395,399,495,499, depending on experience and level in school.
