    Description

In this study I research the "right to be forgotten" on the Web (the right to have search engines such as Google not show certain information about one’s past in their search results). There is plenty of old and new information available about individuals on the Web. Old information tends to become out of date and out of contexts and should therefore receive a lower decision weight by decision makers (for example when an employer searches for information about a job applicant, he should discount the old bad information that he finds about the applicant). In this research I investigate whether this is actually the case or if humans fail to take the age of information into account in their decision making.
