You will use data from the Building Research Initiative Group: chronic illness management and adherence in transplantation (BRIGHT) study, an 11 country multi-center, cross-sectional study including 36 Heart transplant centres. The BRIGHT study’s goal is to assess variability in view of various health behaviors among heart transplant patients internationally, to assess multilevel risk factors for medication non-adherence, and to map and compare practice patterns among heart transplant centers in view of chronic illness management. Data collection was conducted from March 2012 to October 2015. Details of the BRIGHT study’s methodology have been reported elsewhere and are available upon request from Dr. Russell. Using a multistage sampling approach, the BRIGHT study included a convenience sample of 11 countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, UK, Australia, Canada, USA, and Brazil), a convenience sample of 36 Heart transplant centers and 100 clinicians practicing in these centers. There are several possible projects that you could investigate using these data.
